About Me

A BRIEF INTRODUCTION

I am a student from Champlain College pursuing my bachelor's degree in Marketing, and not only did I choose Champlain for its excellent business program, but the exciting opportunities for outdoor exploration that Vermont has to offer, which occupy so much of my free time. As any outdoors person knows, the skills from fishing, hiking, and camping translate very well into business, with all of those activities helping me cultivate and expand on my patience and understanding, with a backbone of hard work and consistent effort which are all necessary in order to be successful in business and life in general. I pride myself on my ability to get along with, and form meaningful connections with almost anyone I meet, and I truly believe that is one of the most important skills in business, not only to connect with the consumers but with your own team and coworkers alike. I have been practicing all of these skills during my marketing internship with Discovery Map International, which has helped me understand how these skills fit into many different roles I might encounter during my professional career.
